Purple Plum Restaurant in Yreka

The food was OUTSTANDING!! My hubby had the Cali Benedict, I had the Greek Omlette & the kids had the pancake & eggs. My son ate all of his AND our hash browns. Service was excellent! Definitely recommend & would come back again!

My wife were on our way home from Canada and took the Yreka Center off ramp and found this wonderful place to eat. This was the best lunch we had on our 9 day vacation. Wish I could go back and try their breakfast, I suspect the biscuits and gravy are the bomb.

Just had a late lunch at the Purple Plum, for the first time. Very nice. Cute place to stop traveling, and get a bite. Good food, pleasant people. Will stop there again.

Just happened to find this yummy place as we were driving through... you walk into a friendly atmosphere and a very clean restaurant... our server was Jeremy and he was very nice and accommodating...graciously finding us the best table for me and my service dog, Coco...Very healthy choices on their menu...I had a veggie wrap with tahini sauce...it was fresh and tasty... my husband had a burger ( the Western burger with bacon and barbecue sauce) he said it was the best burger he has ever eaten in his life..and he's 60 y/o. The fries were perfect.. They accommodated me with low salt fries too...so if one of you is a meat eater and the others a vegan/vegetarian, this is the perfect place for you. Great staff, healthy fresh food...5 STARS!!!

Very thoughtful and accommodating!! Our daughter has celiac. They made her dinner with a gluten free bun and the food was great!! When asked about bringing in our service dog, all they asked is if she had a vest but we're very accommodating to our family. The food was large portions and tasted great! Any parent knows children are unpredictable, especially in restaurants. They were very forgiving when my son spilled his water. Handicap friendly, kid friendly, and diet friendly! We will be back!

I wish I could give this place six stars. I've been for dinner and breakfast multiple times now and I've always been happy. The food is delicious. The last time we were there the owner was a little swamped and she comped our meals because we had to wait some 20 minutes. That's really not so bad to give away an entire table's worth of meals. Needless to say, the service is great, even when they make a little mistake, they own up to it.

Delicious. Sad I didn't see country fired steak on the menu like another review mentioned but maybe it's only during breakfast. Great overall and I love the outfit Luke was wearing!

The bathrooms had toilet paper in only one stall, wete durty, had the paper towel roll sitting on counter, the door handles were disgusting, the menu was sticky, our waitress took forever. The pancakes and waffles were bland, the syrup... I don't even know what it was, it was gross. The food was definitely overpriced for the place I don't know how this got four stars.

Fresh made to order Beer Battered Cod, Chicken strips, ALL beef is 100% certified black Angus, Burgers are ALL hand pressed Certified Angus ground CHUCK! QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY!

The food is good, plentiful and a very affordable price. I particularly like their Ahi salad. The service is always Pleasant and the interior design is very comfortable and attractive

This place has improved amazingly over my visit a year ago. Keep going! The fries are amazing and you can tell they care about the food now. My gramps loves this place and I used to not be able to enjoy the visit because sub part food. Thank you to the new owners for making it good. Service has always been good.

On our way to southern ca. Stayed at miners inn (great place) front desk said this place was good?? Both my husband and I were in restaurant business my husband was a chef and in one time co-owned 2 restaurants. He ordered the cod platter , I ordered blt. His fish and fries looked burnt really were dark my husband said not burnt their oil was old? And my blt no mayo on it. We did not complain chalk it up to being tired and hungry had driven 10 1/2 hours just won't be back....should have known restaurant practically empty.

They were just closing about to lock up the place when we showed up and they said they would let us stay and eat. I didn't want to keep their employees when they were just about to go home. But that just shows how great of service they have.

Great food. Bad service. We asked for waters and they never came we had a very snarky waitress. My coffee came and there was lipstick on the side of my cup. My aunt asked for garlic fries and our waitress gave her regular fries and said "Oh well".

2 stars for the Very friendly staff! But the food was way over priced and not very good at all!! Got 2 orders of Blueberry pancakes for my two girls (13 and 9 yrs old) and a Patty melt for myself. The patty melt was NOT grilled, it was burnt. The pancakes were overcooked as well and those 3 items plus 2 sodas came to 37.83!!!!!! What a rip!.... I'll stop at Denny's next time!

Stopped here for dinner on the way home and it was empty. But before we left it had 7 takes full. They have the cutest french fries called sidewinders. Prices were medium range but food was good 3 guys working the back, and the front guy was on top of everyone so service was just fine.

Solid place to eat. I travel for a living i see every kind of eatery available. This place is clean, simple but tasteful. Burgers are a winner, I'm cattlemen from NKC MO so i know my meats. There meat choice is very lean which isn't bad it's just its own deal. Should try it out! The Blue cheese burger👍

Amazing service just travelling through town hard to find g free options for my celiac child. They were helpful and food was delicious and very careful in their preparation. Even put on gloves while cooking and washed hands before handing food! Thanks! Totally recommend!

The service was attentive, and the food was delicious. It is exactly what it appears, great sandwiches and amazing french fries!

I enjoyed the food and the server was great, but I felt like he was the only one waiting tables in the entire place. Would have been nice to have other people so the service could be a bit faster. The desserts looked amazing, but I was too full to try any.

The new owners menu, and the chef's execution, is really good. Good service as well.

I ordered salad, and forgot to say "no croutons", but they were wonderful about making a new salad for me. When I saw an onion ring on my brother-in-laws burger, I realized that the fries on our plates would be done in the same frier, so they made sure to get us new plates, replaced the pickles, and brought us fruit instead.Friendly staff, wonderful care, would definitely return again, even given our high sensitivity level celiac.
